It almost looks like a house!

The framers are making great progress. Every morning at ten to seven they are here unloading their tools; they have been faithful in working through wind, rain, and sun. They are just finishing up the second floor today and tomorrow should start the trusses on the roof!

I know the pictures just make the house look like a maze of 2x4s. This picture is standing in theback of the house on the main floor looking out the front picture window.




Here you are standing on the east side of the main floor looking at the stair well and the back bathroom. Where I am standing take the picture is where my kitchen will be and the window to the right will be my kitchen sink.



Look out the front again.




This is standing on the second story looking down the stair well. The framers in Sask don't actually build their own stairs. They get a special guy to come in and measure the openings and then goes and makes them at his shop - ships them here and tacks them on. Seems like more work than just building them on site.... prairie folk...
