Worked like dogs today (well, no because the dogs slept in the sun all day... so we worked like workers today).

We have SOD! So we booked our sod a WEEK in advance; the morning we were to get it Dan went to pick it up. They somehow "lost" our paperwork. They had a little left over from another person's pallet so they gave us that. We were really upset - who decided the other person's order was more important than our order! So we have half a back yard of sod, the rest is still sand (great when the dogs run in and out of the trailer). The wooded off section on the right hand side will be a paving stone patio for our fire pit! We hopefully will be getting that this week!

















After a bit of drinking last night dad and I got joking around about some of the lighting in the new house. He suggested a BIG chadalere over the stairs as a joke. I was like - not unless it was nice and open like Lougheed. That started a thought pattern. Why do we have a wall going all the way up the stairs breaking our second story hallway into a little maze! so the saws-all came out today and now it is nice and open. The beneffits of bottling wine and then drinking it all!



























The plumbers are are done their rough in. They are now working on the heating! (not that we get a furnace any time soon). Our tubs are in (not hooked up or anything). We have cardboard ontop of them to keep people out!




















Lastly, today, we took down the two fences in the front. They will not be going back up. We want to be open to the neighbours! The posts are still there as they are cemented three feet down. I heard talk of a 4x4 truck and some chain to help us remove them tomorrow!
